Celebrating 10 Years!
The Biotherapeutics Analytical Summit rounded up its 10th year with the successful conclusion of a week-long program from March 4-8, 2019.
Over the course of the week, the event hosted 4 conferences, over 60 presentations, 10 breakout discussions, 3 training seminars, 4 short courses, along with 15 sponsors and exhibitors and about 30 posters in the exhibit hall.
The week kicked off with 2 parallel conferences. Speakers of the Method Development, Qualification & Validation conference discussed challenges in developing methods for complex molecules including AAV and VLP viruses, as well as regulatory
considerations for method validation and transfer; while speakers of the Characterizing Aggregates & Particles conference shared their toolbox for particle analysis, control and quantification.
The Advances in Characterization Methods and Approaches brought out attention to novel technologies and approaches in analytical strategies, including Water proton NMR, LC-MS and MAM. The exciting breakout discussions broke the attendees into
groups exploring challenges and techniques in characterizing ADCs, bispecifics and gene therapy products.
The week ended with Comparabilty & Analytical Similarity, where speakers present exciting talks covering higher order structure and conformational analysis for characterization, comparability, and analytical similarity.
The big announcement at the event was the move of the event, typically held in March in the capital region, to JUNE in 2020.
Mark your calendar to join us at the 11th Annual Biotherapeutics Analytical Summit, on June 1-5, 2020 at the Westin Alexandria Hotel in Alexandria, VA!
We look forward to seeing you again next year!
